We were already the kind of people who obsessed over scent trails in a room, the foam on a perfect cocktail, the way skin feels after a truly good body milk, or how one pinch of seasoning can turn an ordinary meal into something memorable. Somewhere between lighting candles at the end of the day, experimenting with syrups for friends, and blending fragrances just for ourselves, a question emerged:
